About Luisa

Hi! My name is Luisa. I'd love the opportunity to care for your children- I'm comfortable with kids from age 1 through teens, and I am CPR certified. I spent 3 years as an after-school program teacher during college, managing mixed-age classrooms from kindergarten through 5th grade at once. That experience taught me how to stay interactive, detail-oriented, and patient while keeping a safe, educational, and fun environment going - even with kids at very different stages. I hold a bachelor's degree in Interior Design, but working with kids has always been a passion for me. I'm a logical thinker, highly detail-oriented, and I bring a creative eye to activities and problem-solving. I'm also a strong communicator - with kids and parents alike - so you can always count on being kept in the loop. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, so I'm happy to communicate in whichever your family prefers. I'm based in San Antonio and I'd love to set up a meet-&-greet so you can get a feel for me!
