About Mikala

(looking for full time position) My name is Mikala, and I'm a compassionate, creative, and energetic caregiver with over 13 years of experience with children ages 6 months to 16 years. I've worked as a nanny, babysitter, and gymnastics coach, and recently completed 6 months of full-time care for a family of three (ages 3, 1. 5, and 6 months). I have a background in graphic design and a love for photography and travel, which I bring into my caregiving through engaging, educational, and fun activities. Growing up with a brother with ASD and autism, I have experience supporting children with special needs, including non-verbal children and those with ADD/ADHD. As a military brat, I understand flexibility and adaptability in family life. My structured yet warm approach helps children feel safe, confident, and inspired.
