About Mikaela

With my background in childhood education and many years of lived experience, I understand how important it is to create safe spaces where kids feel confident, seen, and valued. What motivates me most is knowing that I can be a patient voice, a caring presence, or someone just to laugh with with any extra respectfully support a child might need to keep pushing forward. Life can bring a lot of tough moments, and I want to be someone who helps children build strong foundations--emotionally, socially, and academically--so they can thrive in the future. I also understand how much families carry and how overwhelming daily life can feel. Growing up without my father and without a lot of support, I learned firsthand the importance of reassurance, consistency, and compassion. That's why I'm committed to showing up for kids in the ways I once needed--offering stability, understanding, and genuine care every step of the way.
