About Mikaela

Hello! I'm nurturing, creative, and attentive. I've always enjoyed connecting with children and discovering what makes each child unique. My childcare experience began in high school, where teachers regularly asked me to help with preschool, kindergarten and elementary students. I've also helped care for my sister's baby while she's working both day and night shifts, and I'm excited to begin my first paid childcare position. I believe your kid's childhood should be filled with curiosity, laughter, and moments of wonder while teaching them self discipline and respect for others. I enjoy cooking, baking, painting, and drawing and I'd love to be able to share those interests with the children. I approach challenges with patience encouraging the child to feel comfortable to express themselves while teaching them responsibility, confidence, and self discipline. I hope to build a meaningful bond with a family while making the responsibilities of parenthood and life a little lighter.
