About Mickinley

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my approach to education. With two years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I empower students to develop critical thinking skills by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every small success. I assess your learning style by actively listening and observing how you interact with new material, then adapting my methods--from visual aids to hands-on activities--to suit your needs. Clear communication is the foundation of my practice, as I believe it builds the trust necessary for a collaborative environment. I find the most reward in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks for a student. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or a coffee shop, I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals and seeing you succeed.
