About Michelle

I was raised with a significant portion of my time spent with my great aunts and uncles (6 of them in fact) as well as my grandparents. I was the family member called in to assist with caring for them if they became sick, entered the hospital, and provided rehab PT assistance for a knee replacement. I have some basic nursing/medical background with my early nursing studies in addition to an internship at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center. My intentional focus with the senior population is quality of care, compassion, understanding, and a respectful relationship. A top priority is creating a safe and healthy environment which includes a clean and organized living space, nutritional concerns, and assistance with daily tasks, care, and transportation to appointments. Mental stimulation and enrichment is another component that I believe enhances the quality of the senior years.
