About Michelle

I started my care career early, when I began babysitting at age 11! I've cared for all age groups, including those with a variety of special needs and disabilities, as an HHA while in Nursing school, and then as an RN for most of my adult life. Now that I have a toddler of my own with special needs, I have put my Nursing career on hold to care for him; rather than commit to a Nursing job or company, I prefer to make my own schedule and care for people (and their pets!) in their homes, where I can get to know an individual family and provide them with the undivided attention they deserve, as well as the very best of the compassionate, interactive care I love to provide. Being a Nurse, it almost goes without saying that I am very punctual and organized! A couple of side notes: I am and keep current in my CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications. I am also an animal lover, and have extensive pet care experience! I have excellent references that I can provide upon request.
