About Isabella

Hi! My name is Isabella and I'm a Brazilian educator currently living in New York. I have a degree in Elementary teacher and more than 10 years of experience working with children in different settings, including schools, tutoring, and childcare. I am currently an au pair and have been caring for a little girl since she was 6 months old (she's almost 2 now), which gave me strong hands-on experience with infants and toddlers, including routines, sleep schedules, feeding, and early development. During my university training in Brazil, I also completed required field experiences working with different age groups, which gave me at least 6 months of experience with each stage: infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment and incorporating learning through play, reading, and educational activities. I speak Portuguese and English and will begin my Master's in Education at Syracuse University this fall.
