About Michelle

Hi, I'm Michelle I'm a passionate educator with years of experience supporting students in public and charter school settings. I've served as both a full-time long-term and day-to-day substitute teacher and I previously taught full-time in early childhood classrooms. I have completed my coursework for my Bachelor's in Elementary Education at the University of Phoenix. The only thing left for me to do is to take my Praxis exam and become a licensed educator. I created Explore Scholars to give children a safe, fun, and supportive space to strengthen their reading skills at their own pace. I believe that with the right strategies and encouragement, every child can become a strong reader.
