About Michelle

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a Certified Generalist EC-8th grade teacher, I specialize in ESL, English, Science, Test Preparation, and Study Skills for elementary and middle school students. I believe every learner thrives when provided with personalized support in an engaging, patient environment. By observing how students interact with new material, I adapt my methods in real time --using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit each student's unique learning style. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to personal interests to build momentum. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure we remain aligned on your goals. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing your confidence grow as you master new skills. I truly look forward to helping you discover your own "aha!" moment.
