About Gretchen

Hi, my name is Gretchen --I'm 19 years old and going through college with a degree in Accountancy at ETSU. I have taken several college-level math courses, and I have passed my Mathematics 5165 praxis test. I feel confident in tutoring math from the middle to high school level, and I'm hoping I can put my experience and knowledge to good use! I'd describe my personality as patient, understanding, and simple. I don't want to bring unnecessary stress to any of my students, and I'll take all the time I need to ensure their success. I try to explain things in the simplest manner possible, as I find that really helps me personally when learning new subjects. I like tutoring because I feel fulfilled and energized helping others in matters I'm confident in, and giving others that same confidence is a wonderful feeling. I'm looking for a job that offers me flexibility, and that gives me valuable experience.
