Empowering Early Elementary students to reach their full potential is my passion. With 31 years of experience as a Certified, First Grade Teacher, I specialize in Reading and Writing I have a master's as a Reading Specialist . I can also teach Math, Science, History, and essential study skills. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. By actively listening and observing how your child engages with new material, I tailor my approach to your child's specific needs. I keep learning momentum high by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every "aha!" moment. I maintain open, consistent communication with parents to ensure we are working as a collaborative team. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or school, I provide a patient and supportive environment where your child can learn and feel comfortable making mistakes. Helping your child learn is what makes my job worth it.
