About Michaela

Empowering students to become independent critical thinkers is the foundation of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a certified instructor, I specialize in English and History across all levels, from elementary to college. I believe that learning happens when we connect complex concepts to personal interests and real-world applications. By actively listening and observing how students interact with new material, I tailor my approach to suit each student's unique needs. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to build a collaborative environment where every small success is celebrated. Whether we meet at your home, online, or at a local library, my goal is to break down challenges into manageable steps to build momentum. Seeing my students' confidence grow as they master new skills is what makes this work so rewarding for me. I look forward to supporting you or your child's academic journey.
