Hi! My name is Mia, and I am entering my senior year of college. I have over two years of childcare experience, starting at my aunt's daycare, where I cared for infants through preschool-aged children. Since then, I have worked with multiple families and babysat children ages 6 months to 10 years through Care. com. Most recently, I was a nanny for a 1-year-old, providing daily care including meals, naps, diaper changes, playtime, and developmental activities. Last summer, I nannied for a 2-year-old in New York City and worked as a shared nanny in Washington, DC, for three children ages 2, 4, and 5. I also have tutoring experience with elementary and middle school students in math and reading and speak conversational Spanish. I am reliable, patient, and caring, and I strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment. While I do not drive, I am dependable and committed to providing excellent care. I'd love the opportunity to work with your family!!
Mia is wonderful! She cared for our then 14 month old daughter and we couldn’t have been happier. She is great at communicating, playing, story time, dancing, music and all kinds of activities inside and outside. We were really sad when Mia had to leave us to go back to her hometown. We know anyone that hires her will be happy with the love and care she provided for their children!
