About Janiya

Hi, I'm Janiya! I'm a professional childcare provider with almost 4 years of hands-on experience working with children from infants to early elementary school. I've worked as a private nanny, preschool teacher, daycare assistant, 1:1 aide, and tutor, giving me a well-rounded understanding of children's developmental stages, big emotions, and little personalities. I've cared for children as young as newborns up to 14 years old. Most recently, I worked as a Kindergarten Prep teacher for 4-5-year-olds, where I supported early academics, social-emotional growth, motor skills, and confidence. I am CPR & First Aid certified, patient, attentive, and committed to creating a safe, loving, and fun environment where children can thrive. I can assist with structured learning, creative play, meal prep, and routines. I value clear communication and professionalism, and I'm dedicated to providing reliable, high-quality care.
