About Mia

Hi!! I am a 20-year-old student at the University of Connecticut majoring in Psychology and Human Development & Family Sciences. I have been working with children for about 5 years but I have been surrounded by young children my whole life. I was a camp counselor for four years. In that time I was in charge of Kindergarten - 2nd graders but I have experience with kids all the way up to fifth grade. I have been babysitting for a long time as well. A lot of the kids I have babysat for came out of me being their camp counselor or from references. I have worked with kids from 1 years old all the way to 12 years old, including children with Down syndrome, diabetes, and food allergies. I love being outside, playing sports (I have played basketball and softball my entire life), doing crafts, helping with homework, cooking and listening to music! I am looking for part-time jobs when I come home from school for winter and summer breaks. Whether that's three times a week or a random date night!
