About Emily

Hi families! My name is Emily, and I'm looking for a part-time babysitting position for weekday evenings after 3:00 p.m. I have years of experience working with children and truly enjoy building strong connections with the families I work with. My background includes working as a preschool teacher and camp counselor, and I've always loved creating a positive, engaging environment where kids can feel comfortable, supported, and have fun. I attended Central Connecticut State University and originally studied Elementary Education before earning my degree in Sociology and Psychology in 2022. I currently work full-time in Human Resources, and outside of work I'm looking to continue doing something I've always loved which is working with kids. I'm reliable, patient, energetic, and easygoing, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel they can trust the person caring for their children.
