About Mia

Hi! My name is Mia, and caregiving has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work as an HHA for my autistic brother, and I've helped care for him alongside my mom for as long as I can remember. This has given me strong experience with patience, emotional support, communication, and understanding individual needs. I have around 5 years of childcare experience with both special needs and neurotypical children ages 8 weeks to 4 years old. I've also worked in a Montessori school for the past year and am currently in my first month of receiving my CDA certification. I love building genuine connections with children and creating a safe, loving environment where they feel comfortable and understood. I also completed a year of culinary education, so I'm more than happy to cook and help with meal prep. I'm dependable, caring, energetic, and I drive as well.
