About Mia

I'm a recent graduate from USC Annenberg with a B. A in Communication and minors in Screenwriting and Entertainment. I'm the oldest of four girls, and I grew up caring for my sisters, one of which has a life-threatening food allergy. I love pets, and I'm excited to help students find their full potential through personalized support. When I teach, I create engaging and patient learning environments. I listen to students and observe how they interact with new material. By varying my teaching strategies and connecting challenging topics to real-world examples, I keep students motivated. Communication is essential. I provide regular updates to parents and build a collaborative and trustworthy environment. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of being a tutor.
