About Mia

Hi! My name is Mia. I am currently studying nursing with a focus on childhood development, and I have several years of hands-on experience working with children across a wide range of ages and developmental needs. I worked as a swim instructor for children ages 2-12, where I was responsible for safely managing and teaching up to four children at a time, including those with diverse learning styles and disabilities. Through this role, I developed strong communication, patience, and adaptability skills. I am also certified in lifeguarding and CPR. In addition, I have extensive babysitting experience, including caring for two children over the course of a year. For the past two summers, I have also cared for two infants (6 months old), I managed daily routines, feeding, and meal preparation, including making homemade baby food. I am passionate about working with children and take pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports their growth and development.
