About Mia

I have 10 years of experience in baby sitting. Additionally, I have 3 years of experience with special needs care. I have cared for individuals with cognitive, physical, and emotional disabilities in a school setting as well as in the home. I am 22 years old and have over 2 years of education in social work at university. Aside from schooling, I have hands on expertise with multiple preschool classrooms, and kids up to age 18. Most of the individuals I have worked with have been on the autism spectrum, and this has given me ample education on how to functionally care for any child. I enjoy taking the kids in my care out and about for activities to work on social and emotional skills. When I am in the home I am comfortable with bathing and feeding for all ages, travel, light housekeeping, and I do enjoy cooking. I would love to meet up and see if we're a good fit.
