Hello, I'm Miss Mia! I'm passionate about caring and teaching children and adults with and without Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDDs). I'm fairly new to DC, pursuing my masters in International Education. Most recently, I was an English teach in South Korea for 3-6 grades. Prior to teaching abroad, I had jobs as a full-time kindergarten teacher, a paraprofessional support aide for elementary students with disabilities, and a respite care worker for autistic children. I have experience with tutoring, caregiving, house cleaning, and nannying full-time. I am happy to provide most services needed, as well as accommodate for any medical needs. I am familiar with curriculum in any subjects K-6, especially primary level pre-k-2nd and English language learning.
