About Merry

Hello, my name is Merry. I have been teaching for 13 years, and am currently a 2nd Grade teacher. I have also taught 3rd and 4th Grade as well as grades 4-12 in an ESL program. My primary goal every day is to ensure that all of my students feel success and have opportunities to grow and strengthen their growth mindset because teaching is about impacting a students academic and social emotional learning. I am very passionate in helping all students see their potential and help them set individualized goals that allow them to track their progress. Their goals target areas where they need additional support as well as areas that need extension opportunities. These goals are routinely measured and modified as students make progress. I love providing additional resources, scaffolds, and technology supports that can help spark their passion and keep them engaged.
