About Merritt

I began my childcare career in 2021 as a K-12 substitute teacher before transitioning to preschool education in 2022 where I taught children ages 2-4 and frequently worked with infants and toddlers. In February 2026, I moved into an Assistant Director role, but I miss the hands-on, individualized experience of working directly with children. I'm currently pursuing my M. Ed. in Early Childhood Development and love creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster learning, curiosity, and imagination. As both a childcare professional and a mom, I understand the importance of providing patient, nurturing, and dependable care. I know how important it is for parents to feel confident that their little ones are in capable, caring hands.
