About Merrick

The joy and excitement of seeing how children learn and grow drew me to childcare. With four years of experience caring for children aged 0-14, I'm confident in my ability to provide a nurturing yet fun, exciting, creative, and safe environment for your little ones. I am comfortable caring for up to 5 children and am certified in First Aid Training and CPR as I have been a summer camp counselor for 4 years now! I also have a lot of babysitting experience. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I am comfortable enforcing house rules but will always follow your preferred method. I can also offer swimming supervision as I am a strong swimmer and have experience watching young ones in the water. I am a Junior at American University studying Public Health and have two wonderful educators for parents! Knowing I can support families and make a positive impact on children's lives is very special, and I look forward to bringing that energy to your family!
