About Meredith

Hi, I'm Meredith! I graduated from Loyola Chicago in 2024 and since then worked briefly as an assistant preschool teacher and then as a live-in au pair in London. I'm now returning to my hometown in Saint Louis and am looking for a full-time nanny position. My childcare style focuses exploration and outside play. For school-age children I can offer "homework help" and tutoring in English, reading, and early math. Outside of allotted school-focused time, I prioritize free play and new experiences. From my reading and experience, the best way to support strong, fun, independent children is to teach them guiding life tools, and then to give them the room to make mistakes. Beyond strictly providing childcare, I am also open to discussing laundry, meal prep, errands, etc. Depending on your family's needs, I am able to work on a full list of household chores while children are at school.
