About Memphis

Hi, I'm Memphis:) I'd describe my personality as kind, conscientious, patient, & fun-loving. I enjoy working with children because they bring so much joy to my life! I began working with kids when I was 12, as a mother's helper & have cared for children ages 3 mo - 13 y/o. I love doing arts/crafts, playing games, getting active indoors/outdoors, visiting enriching places like museums and farms, & reading to and with the children I nanny. I help lead a family/children's meditation program monthly. I also like to cook healthy meals, tidy, help with homework, pet care, errands, & have a car for pick up/drop off. I am in school for my bachelors in nursing at WCU/ABtech & hope to become a pediatric nurse once I graduate. In my spare time, I like to dance, hike, garden, & read. I am educated in safety (CPR/first aid certified/experience with children who have allergies/medical conditions), Montessori, positive parenting, & have taken courses in childhood development and nutrition.
