About Melody

I have had training in various intervention strategies that are effective for grades K-6. I am more confident in reading and writing strategies. I have access to a few resources for building fluency in these subjects. For math, I enjoy using science to reinforce learning. Math work that I develop is more project-based and sometimes require us to get messy (and clean it up)! I have two different curriculum's that I use for social skill learning. This provides me with activities and discussion guides for students who may need support when changing schools, emotional adjustment, or trauma care. I am a trauma, culture and urban-informed educator that can support learning for many different young students.
