About Melody

I currently work as an aide in a special needs classroom. I have also worked as a substitute and aftercare teacher for my current employer. In private settings, I aim to use my experience to provide tools for routine and organization for parents, as well as promote a nurturing environment for the children. My passion does lie in working with children with special needs and multiples. I like to play a lot of games, and because I work in a school, I find it easy to create ways of incorporating academic work. I am very organized and communicative for field trips. (I love adventures!) Although I can be fun, I have received feedback from parents saying they appreciate how I handle rules and my philosophy on discipline. Ultimately, I look to align with your goals for your family and contribute to it's success.
