About Mellisa

Hello... I'm Mellisa. I separated honorably from the US Navy. Prior to being in the Navy, I was a full time Nanny and student. During my time in the Navy, I worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and OB/GYN. I also completed all requirements for my Medical Assistant Certification. I have had extensive training dealing with neonates all the way up to adults. I am very pro breastfeeding and have had years of experience with proper handling and storage of breast milk. I am also experienced with preparing formula and meds. I am also able to deal with food allergies and different learning challenges. I have a 3-year-old daughter who attends a local Montessori school during the day. I am currently in Law School. I am very gentle parenting minded , holistic , patient , and overall caring. I treat other children with the love and care that I treat my daughter with. I love to do crafts , cook , creative play , read , and teach children.
