About Karen

Hello! My name is Karen, I am 23 years old and I come from a big family with lots of children. I've cared for children of all ages including newborns and toddlers. During summers I cared for my cousins and enjoyed taking them out to places like the library and park. I volunteered at Girls Inc. of Carpinteria for one summer; I was a counselor in training and worked with children ranging from the ages of 4-15. The summer prior I volunteered at the Carpinteria Public Library helping with the children's summer reading program. I was also employed by the University of San Diego as an elementary and middle school tutor throughout my 4 years there. Through caring for my cousins, my volunteer work and employment, I have gained a lot of valuable skills. I enjoy spending time with children and hope to work with them in the future. I believe that I would be a great babysitter; I am responsible, fun, caring, and very reliable! I'm also great with pets! Please let me know if I can be of assistance!
