About Melissa

My name is Melissa and I am 34 years old. I recently moved to Austin from Memphis, Tennessee. I have worked with children all my life, but I have been a professional nanny for almost 16 years. I love kids, especially babies! I love to watch them grow and develop their little personalities! A few of my certifications include but are not limited to, CPR, First Aid, and AED training, Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine training, Newborn Care Specialist training, Sleep Solutions Birth-6 months training, postpartum doula training , and I was Nanny of the Year 2017 in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am a firm believer that the TV is not a babysitter and prefer to have a TV/screen free zone for the children I watch. I love to read, plan daily activities, and also do age appropriate crafts, not only for the children I nanny, but also to give the parents precious keepsakes. I understand that your babies are your entire world and you need someone to care for them as much as you would yourself. I am that person!
