About Melissa

I have always had a heart for caring for and serving others, especially seniors. My caregiving experience began with my own family, providing hands-on care for both of my parents while on hospice. My mother-in-law also lived with our family for 10 years, and I helped care for her throughout those years and during her final season on hospice. I continue to support seniors and widows/widowers in my church community by providing companionship, grocery shopping, errands, transportation to appointments and simply being a dependable presence in their lives. I am also a retired U. S. Navy Senior Chief with 26 years of service, where integrity, responsibility and dependability became a part of who I am. I love conversation, laughter and building genuine relationships. My goal is to help your loved one feel valued, respected, comfortable and cared for with the same kindness and dignity I would want for my own family.
