As a single parent of two children, one of whom has been diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder, I know firsthand how challenging and overwhelming certain situations can become. Melissa has a gift for de-escalating extreme behaviors, keeping my child safe, calm, and supported during some of the most stressful moments. What sets her apart is not only her calm presence but also her strong educational background in working with children who have behavioral challenges. She consistently goes above and beyond her role helping with schoolwork, cooking, cleaning, and stepping in wherever she’s needed. Her support has been life changing for my family, and I honestly don’t know what I would do without her. Melissa also makes sure my second child, who does not have behavioral issues, receives the same love, attention, and care. That balance is extremely important to me, and she provides it effortlessly. She has been a tremendous blessing in so many ways, and I am deeply grateful for the positive impact she continues to have on our lives.
