I have been volunteering for Girl Scouts of America (1996 - 2008) and Special Olympics (1987) and it has provided me with some experience with children with special needs. I have worked with children and adults with cancer, bed bound, bladder and bowel care, hygiene needs, Alzheimer's, prepare clients for surgery mentally and psychologically (all ages), and more. I have three children (twins and a single birth), and a grandson. One of my passions in life is to guide patients or clients to be as independent as possible without defeating their pride.
