About Melissa

I am a dynamic individual with a passion for nurturing young minds and making a splash in their lives. With over 2+ years of experience working closely with children, I have honed my skills as a swimming instructor, guiding little ones to navigate the waters with confidence. As an after-school program assistant, I have effortlessly handled a bustling group of 17+ kids, fostering an environment of learning, growth, and fun. Currently attending UC Santa Barbara, and I am immersing myself in the world of environmental studies, driven by a love for nature and a desire to protect the planet. When not hitting the books, you'll find me soaking up the outdoors, cherishing every opportunity to breathe in the fresh air and embrace the wonders of the natural world.
