About Melissa

I have 17 years of experience in babysitting, nannying, and working in public, private, and nonprofit childcare settings, caring for children from 8 weeks to 13 years old. Currently, I am the preschool team lead at a nature-based school, where I work with children from 3 months to 6 years old. I am nurturing, patient, reliable, and adaptable. I am passionate about taking children outdoors in all seasons and fostering creativity and a growth mindset. I enjoy taking children to the library and experimenting with developmentally appropriate activities and sensory recipes. I am CPR/First Aid certified and hold my Preschool CDA, NH Early Childhood Professional Educator I credential, MA Director I, Lead Preschool Teacher, and Infant/Toddler Teacher certifications. While I love group childcare, working one-on-one with children and families to help guide and nurture development is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
