About Melissa

I have more than 10 years of experience caring for children from infancy through the teen years, including children with autism, ADHD, and other special needs. My background as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides specialized experience in behavior support, communication, and helping children build confidence and independence. As a mother of five grown children and grandmother of eight, caring for children has been one of the greatest joys of my life. My homeschooling experience helps me incorporate creativity, age-appropriate learning, and skill-building into everyday activities. Families appreciate that I actively engage children through play, exploration, and meaningful interaction rather than relying on screens. I strive to create an environment where children feel safe, valued, encouraged, and loved. I am a Christian and seek to love God and others in all that I do.
