My adventures in people care include years of experience in childcare, ABA autism services as an RBT, academic coaching for educationally marginalized children with more easily overlooked forms of disability such as ADHD and higher functioning ASD (particularly as it pertains to executive function deficits), respite for children with special needs, as well as respite and health aide services to the elderly. Being a young mom of two toddlers can get overwhelming at times, and having Melissa has truly been amazing! When she watches my children, I'm finally able to breathe, recharge, and take care of myself knowing my babies are safe, happy, and loved. My children absolutely adore her, and it makes me so happy seeing how excited they get when she's around!
