Melissa has been an incredible au pair for our family from January 2025 through January 2026, caring for our three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son while my husband and I both worked full-time. Sharing your home with someone truly gives you insight into who they are as a person, and Melissa is genuinely kind, warm, and exceptionally well suited for caring for children of all ages. She was responsible for our children during the workday and handled both toddler and infant care with confidence and ease. Melissa was excellent at maintaining consistent routines, including feeding schedules, naps, and age-appropriate activities. Our infant (son) was always well rested, well fed, and content, and she navigated transitions between naps, meals, and playtime seamlessly. As parents, it gave us great peace of mind knowing our children’s daily rhythms were respected and maintained and it showed because both children were happy and well-adjusted when I got home from work at the end of the day. The children were always beautifully cared for — neatly dressed (with my daughter’s hair in the cutest styles), happy, and engaged — and Melissa regularly took them on fun outings to parks and local adventures. She is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and clean and orderly, which allowed us to fully trust her in our home and with our children. Most importantly, our children formed the most special bonds with Melissa over the past year. She became a truly meaningful part of our family, and she will be deeply missed by them and by us.
