About Melissa

I have been a parent, teacher and learning different teaching skills for over 10 years. I'm a part time preschool teacher at a local church, have been tutoring at the local library for now four years. I worked with homeschoolers, public school student's, and assisted with 504/IEP meetings. I have encouraged children to change their confidence levels from zero to hundred in less than six months. I can relate with these kids as I struggled with school in my elementary years but slowly learned what works for me. I go out of my way to help with the children and the parents on what works for the child. I am interested in tutoring on zoom, in person at a local library or cafe. I look forward to hearing from you as soon. In my spare time, I like to hike, walk, play with my dogs, and spend time with family. My skills include new skills on all sorts subjects, read more, and figure out what is going wrong or if they are doing it right.
