About Melissa

My name is Melissa, and I have a background in Psychology with a minor in Intervention. I have several years of experience working with children of different ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age kids. My work has included supporting their emotional development, guiding positive behavior, and creating safe, engaging environments for learning and play. I've also worked as a teacher and classroom assistant, where I helped plan activities, supported early childhood learning, and built strong, trusting relationships with students and families. I am CPR certified, responsible, patient, and passionate about helping children feel understood, supported, and confident. Working with kids truly makes me happy, and I believe in nurturing them with empathy, structure, and creativity.
