About Melissa

It is with genuinely mixed feelings—immense gratitude and deep sadness—that we write this review for Melissa. She has been an absolutely essential, loving, and irreplaceable member of our family since March of 2025, caring for our two children who were 2 and 4 at the time, and who have since turned 3 and 5. The only reason we are parting ways is due to one of us being recently laid off. To call Melissa simply a "nanny" feels insufficient. She is a trusted member of our family and also acts as a household manager. From the moment she joined us, her warmth, stability, and professionalism immediately created a calm and happy environment. Our children adore her, and the bond they share is beautiful and genuine. Knowing they were with Melissa meant we never worried - we just felt relief and peace of mind. Melissa consistently operates on a level that goes far beyond the job description. She has an extraordinary ability to anticipate our family's needs, often taking initiative on tasks that kept our household running smoothly. This included consistently helping with dishes, managing all of the kids' laundry, maintaining organization across their play and living areas, and much more. Her proactiveness is a game-changer; she manages logistics so effectively that she made our family life feel effortlessly organized. Melissa also provided crucial, loving support as our children hit major milestones this year. She was instrumental in smoothly managing the emotional and logistical transition of our younger child into preschool and our older child into kindergarten. Her stability during these big changes ensured both kids felt safe, prepared, and excited. Melissa is a rare treasure. She is trustworthy, utterly dependable, incredibly capable, and radiates kindness. While we are heartbroken to see her go, we know that any family lucky enough to hire her will gain an incredible asset and a loving presence in their home. She leaves a wonderful, lasting impression on our entire family.
