Mel was absolutely perfect for my dad. She was so patient and caring for him, despite his age and idiosyncrasies. For over 2 years Mel was there providing his meals and general company and care for a 90+ year old with limited mobility. She was great at communicating with us when we needed to know what was really going on, given we lived out of state. She always had a very level head and very good decision making. We trusted her completely. My father adored her. She was with him when he passed.
