My experience as a caregiver for my husband, who had dementia, taught me the importance of patience and understanding. I provided him with comprehensive care, including bathing, dressing, cooking, and feeding. I strive to earn your trust by being friendly, approachable, and goal-oriented. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with empathy. I communicate with families using their preferred method. I can assist with transportation, errands, personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I have some college education in counseling. Having a car and being comfortable with pets allows me to provide flexible support. I want to help families find time for themselves, knowing their loved ones are in good hands.
