About Melissa

I have been a caregiver in some capacity for 25+ years. I have worked in nursing homes and hospitals as well as for home health agencies and private duty. I prefer working for individuals in a private capacity as it gives me more flexibility to meet the client's needs. I choose this option too, in order to keep folks living at home. I am personable, caring, compassionate and love to do what I can in order to help one maintain their independence. This is key in one being able to live at home. I have a medical background as a caregiver as well as a diploma in medical billing which gives me that extra knowledge in the medical field. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a job in my preferred field due to the lack of billing experience. I would very much like to be able to be of assistance to someone who might need me.
