About Melissa
Experience: 10 yrs
For the past 20 years, I've been helping students unlock their full potential. With a graduate degree and as a certified teacher, I create engaging and patient learning environments. I adapt my teaching methods to your individual learning style, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to connect challenging topics to your interests. Open communication is essential, and I build trust with students and parents to ensure optimal results. I speak both English and Spanish. Seeing your confidence grow as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I would love to help you foster a love of learning!
Most recent review
Takes time to explain things thoroughly so that I understand them without rushing to another topic. Works on what I think I need to improve on the most and gives me plenty of resources to do so. She is very chill and patient when I struggle on something and pushes me to continue improving my spanish skills after the lesson!
