Hello. My name is Melissa. I am the 2020, "California Teacher of The Year" and am available after 12:30 p.m. on weekdays, and on the weekends. I am a current 5th grade teacher and am fully vaccinated. I LOVE what I do and love finding way's to help every student succeed. If your child needs help catching up from last school year, or you just want them to get ahead, I am here to help. My availability is very limited during the school year but while we are on Summer Break I am here for you :) I have my Master's Degree in Education and graduated Magma Cum laude with a 4. 0 G. P. A. I am fully credentialed (K-6), and trained to teach students with disabilities, gifted students, and English learners. I charge $75 an hour via zoom, or $125 per hour in person. I can help your child with a specific topic of concern, or I can provide diagnostic assessments to identify their area of need and create an instructional plan tailored to them.

Melissa was the most amazing teacher I have ever worked with! My child could not keep up with zoom. He fell so far behind and was starting to doubt himself. She would meet with us once a week for two hours and in that short time helped my son more than his regular teacher did the entire week. Besides "knowing her stuff" she is very kind and my kids loved her. She was so easy to get along with. She even took my two sons on a few virtual field trips that were related to what their regular teacher was teaching in class. I wish could be their regular teacher every year!
