About Melissa

Looking for a part time summer position. I have 19 years of experience in early childhood. I am a mom to 9-year-old boy. I work as a paraeducator at elementary school working 1 on 1 with a child with Autism during the school year. I am first aid-CPR certified. I have been a lead preschool, toddler, and infant teacher at a daycare. I nannied a family for 5 years starting when the children were 3 months and 15 months left when younger child went to kindergarten. I had my own daycare at my house that I had to close due to moving to a new town I had six children everyday all under 3. I created a curriculum each week with fine-motor, gross-motor, stories, music and movement, and science and math activities. I love taking kids outside to play, going to playgroups, libraries, sporting practices, swimming, farms, playgrounds. I love being around kids and teaching them everyday things.
