About Melissa

My name is Melissa and I am a 30yr old military spouse and also a stay at home to a 2 yr old little boy. During the week, I am a full-time sitter for other military families and a few local families. I plan to return to school for massage therapy and holistic medicine, but while we are stationed in this area I hope to be able to provide care for whomever needs it and maybe make some friends in the process! I have American Redcross trainings in childcare and first aid , as well as CPR. I did attend schooling for some nursing and medical knowledge, but given that was about 10 years ago, I try to still stay as current as I can with verified sources like Redcross or local classes provided through the military for families or online courses through accredited sites. My approach and overall parenting style would be what I would consider "intuitive parenting."" I believe in creating a safe space for our kids to create, learn, and explore.
