About Mel

From a young age, I've felt drawn to helping children learn and grow. My 12 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, have only deepened this passion. I hold a college degree and have completed Early Child Development coursework, as well as First Aid Training and CPR Training. I'm also a Certified Teacher. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I am patient, creative, and comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents through daily reports, verbal updates at pickup, and texts. I'm happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children. Knowing I can make a positive impact on a child's life is what I love most about being a caregiver.
